There are many producers of tea, but most people are familiar only with Chinese or Indian tea. We explore world tea production and tea trade. Tea is produced in many different regions: Asia, Africa, Middle East, Latin America.
Some of these countries have been producing tea for centuries, while others are just starting to grow tea, like Kenya or Argentina. Since tea grows in so many different regions, it has unique qualities in both taste and aroma.
Increasing tea trade in XX and XXI centuries produces a number of completely unique beverages, from a plant that has been used by humans for at least four thousand years.
